Shimano Steps SMART Adapter E6

Shimano Steps e-bike batteries are used in the following e-bike brands: BMC, Cortina, Focus, Gazelle, Kalkhoff, Merida, Scott, Sparta, Cannondale, dutch id, HPvelotechnik, Koga, Oxford, Pegasus, WMS, Bergamont, brinke, Drossiger, KTM, Puch, Venturelli, Achielle, Alba, Azorbike, bakfiets.nl, Beaufort, Flanders, Frappé, Olympia, Popal.
An adapter cable AT00038 is needed! This is included into the delivery of a Batterytester. The adapter cable can be ordered separately as well.

Next to Bosch and Yamaha, Shimano is a huge player in the field of e-bike batteries. Batterytester was the first to be able to test Bosch batteries (even before Bosch itself) and is also striving to be the first to test Shimano e-bike batteries.

Instruction:
1. Connect the adapter with the adapter cable AT00038 to the batterytester.
2. Slide the adapter into the battery.
3. Press the button on the battery to switch it on.
4. Start the battery tester and follow the instructions.
Note: The USB connection on the adapter is intended for a possible firmware update of the adapter. DO NOT connect this! Incorrect use may result in damage!
Do not test the battery several times in a row, but always connect the battery to the bike again!
